“I was blown away by the music and by the story” -Taras Kulish.

As One perfectly fits the conditions of the present day. This chamber opera by Laura Kaminsky, libretto by Kimberly Reed and Mark Campbell is performed by a string quartet and two soloists. Baritone Dominique Côté and the mezzo-soprano Sarah Bissonnette were chosen not only for their voices, but also for their similar looks, since As One tells the story of Hannah, a transsexual woman: “She is a character played by two singers”, summarizes Taras Kulish. Dominique Côté will therefore perform “Hannah before” and Sarah will be “Hannah after”.
